Weather Widget for .tel domain - First of its kind

The .tel has the power to accommodate lot of new ideas. However, they are developed within the available options for developers. A  sample weather widget we created for .tel domains is available here at www.new-york-city.wx.tel.

Above are two screenshots of the weather widget we have provided for new-york-city.wx.tel. We can provide similar weather widgets for any geo position in the USA at present. Weather forecasts for other cities/towns anywhere in the world can be provided on any .tel page as shown above.

If you have a geo domain, then you may allocate a separate tel page (there are 3000 tel pages or sub domains that come with every .tel domain) dedicated for weather forecast.

Similar widgets for Stock market quotes, Forex rates, Auction updates, Bargain Sales, Lottery results etc can be designed and displayed on any .tel page.

Skype Status Button on .tel domain

TELcp has added a new feature for the .tel domain. Both tel Owners and ten Users can now display the Skype Status Button on any .tel page. As shown above, the status button will be displayed right under the header of the .tel page and occupies the space allocated for top image ad (image banner). The Real Time status of the Skype user will be clearly displayed on desktop proxy and mobile proxy.

 The only disadvantage is that the ,tel User/Owner has to sacrifice the top banner to pave the way for the newcomer. However, .tel based directories will be greatly benefited from this feature.

 Looking forward to improve the VOIP capability between .tel pages (.tel page Users), so that family members and company staff sharing single .tel domain to display all their contact details will be able to maintain private communication network within the .tel.

.tel MailBox through TELcp

We created .tel MailBox, a unique email masking service only for .tel pages, to protect your email address from web bots and unwanted email marketing services. Embed Videos on .tel pages

Now .tel Owners can embed a Video from Youtube, Vimeo or Dailymotion.
Multiple Video records are allowed on any tel page or folder.
However, only one video record will be displayed at a time, selected at random.

TELcp has designed the easiest method to add a Video record to your tel page.
Add/Delete video record option is available to both .tel Owners and .tel Users.

After carrying out final tweaking of the script to bring you the best of TELcp ver.3.0, we tested the owners' login page of www.telcp.com using online testing tools at pingdom.com. Servers of TELcp are located in Texas, USA. Results are as follows:

New Drag n Drop Records feature for tel Users and tel Owners

We have added a new feature to organize the tel page records by  Drag n Drop. Now tel owners can manage and organize the order of display of contact records and folder links on a tel page. Similarly tel Users can organize their contact records according to their liking just by dragging and dropping.

How to Update Contact Details by a tel User, without any help from the tel Owner

TELcp system allows tel User to access telpage contents directly, without any assistance from the owner of the tel domain. You must be a registered tel User and approved by the tel Owner to maintain a telpage.

First login to the TELcp system. The homepage will be displayed.

When you click the "Click to Manage telpage" icon and "edit telpage" icon on the next page. A page similar to the screenshot given below will be displayed. Please follow the instructions.

Adding New Contact Details:

1. Select a service from the dropdown selection box.
2. Select a location for the contact details. You may leave this blank if you wish.
3. You may write a short description here. i.e. Please use this after office hours.
4. Type your contact number, email or any other contact details. You can mention your blog page etc.
5. You can expand upto a total of 20 contact records by adding more rows.
6. Delete from last row.
7. Click to submit your new contact details.
8. It will only take few minutes to update your telpage.
